Media Planning & Data Analytics Lead

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled OOH Media Planning Manager to lead our dynamic team in strategizing, planning, and executing out-of-home advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing and optimizing OOH strategies, leveraging advanced analytics, automation tools, and media technologies to drive campaign success. As a managerial role, this position involves overseeing a team, managing client relationships, ensuring seamless execution of campaigns, and leading the integration of data-driven insights to improve media planning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Media Strategy & Planning:
- Lead the development of advanced OOH media strategies that align with client objectives, target audience insights, and market trends.
- Oversee the selection of appropriate OOH formats (billboards, transit ads, street furniture, digital OOH platforms) and locations to maximize impact and ROI.
- Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure media plans are aligned with overarching marketing goals and business priorities.
- Manage a portfolio of client campaigns, providing strategic direction to meet their evolving needs in a fast-paced environment.
2. Data Analysis & Automation:
- Drive the use of advanced data analytics and automation tools to enhance media planning, optimization, and reporting processes.
- Analyze campaign performance using real-time data tracking, dashboards, and programmatic media buying platforms to derive actionable insights and improve future strategies.
- Leverage predictive analytics and automation to dynamically adjust campaigns for improved targeting and efficiency.
- Guide the integration of automated systems for campaign optimization, budget allocation, and reporting.
3. Campaign Management & Optimization:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of OOH campaigns from conception to execution, ensuring all campaigns meet client objectives, timelines, and KPIs.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of OOH campaigns, providing leadership on optimization strategies and ensuring that campaigns deliver maximum ROI.
- Lead a team to manage campaign execution, from media negotiations and creative coordination to performance tracking and post-campaign analysis.
- Ensure timely delivery of media assets, contracts, and reports by managing internal and external stakeholders.
4. Leadership & Team Development:
- Manage and mentor a team of media planners and analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Develop team capabilities in data analysis, automation tools, and emerging technologies in the OOH space.
- Provide training and support to enhance team expertise in media strategy, data interpretation, and campaign execution.
- Oversee team performance, set goals, and ensure continuous professional development in line with company objectives.
5. Budget & Resource Management:
- Oversee OOH media budgets across multiple campaigns, ensuring cost-effective media buying while maximizing visibility and impact.
- Use data insights to forecast campaign costs and manage resources effectively.
- Work closely with finance and other departments to ensure campaigns stay within budget and deliver the expected results.
6. Client Relationship & Communication:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, presenting strategies, media plans, and campaign results in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media owners, vendors, creative agencies, and internal teams.
- Provide regular updates on campaign performance and identify opportunities for campaign refinement and expansion.
- Address client concerns and requests promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
7. Innovation & Technology Integration:
- Stay at the forefront of digital OOH (DOOH) innovations, programmatic media buying, and automation technologies to drive the next wave of media planning.
- Implement new technologies and tools that improve media planning efficiency, enhance reporting, and enable more granular targeting and measurement.
- Ensure the integration of real-time data and dynamic content delivery systems into OOH campaigns when appropriate.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in media planning, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role focused on OOH advertising.
- Proven experience with media planning tools, programmatic buying platforms, and data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong knowledge of automation tools for campaign optimization (e.g., AdTech platforms, AI-driven media buying).
- In-depth understanding of digital OOH (DOOH), programmatic media buying, and dynamic content delivery.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and client relationships.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on ROI-driven decision-making.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid (Office/Remote)
- Some travel may be required locally for client meetings, site visits, or industry events.
